Espionage Research Institute

The Espionage Research Institute (ERI) is dedicated to collecting and promulgating information on hostile espionage activity.

This is done through the process of accepting, screening, and editing reports of hostile activity as they are received from ERI Associates and its Advisors.

The membership of ERI consists of counter-espionage professionals (TSCM), security practitioners, business and corporate executives who have security responsibilities, as well as newcomers to the profession. TSCM is the abbreviation for “Technical Surveillance Counter Measures”, it is the industry term for work that includes de-bugging sweeps, wiretap detection, and related counter-surveillance work. The purpose of TSCM is to help businesses and individuals protect themselves from unauthorized and illegal spying activities. One of the main functions of ERI is to help maintain high ethical standards in the counter-espionage field.

ERI is a small and exclusive organization. Those interested in joining should review the ERI Code of ethics and may contact ERI for further information.

The motto of ERI is:
"The Biggest Mistake That We Can Make Would Be To Miss The Changes"
That expresses the basic reason that ERI exists. With constant advancements in technology, and a rapidly changing international relations, we attempt to stay informed on hostile espionage activity that is directed against business and industry.
